Question Coolant Sensor Bad in my 96 grand cherokee

I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee Limited, V8 5.2L. Recently it has been telling me that my coolant sensor is bad. I bought a new one but now I cant find where the bad one is located. My Chilton's says its to the left of the engine block under exhaust manifold, looked but cant find. Anyone have more detailed instructions for me?
Thanks!

There are two. One for the gauge and for the computer. They are both on the top front of the V8 engine near the t-stat housing. The one to the drivers side is for the computer, and the one on the pass. side of the heater hose is for the gauge.
Hope this helps.
And Welcome to CF.
