Compression test
Soo i tested my 97 grand cherokee with 258k on it.
All cylinders were 115-125 soo this a good compression?

The important thing is consistency. What was your high and low?
With all plugs removed and throttle blocked open and with a GOOD battery you should see 120-150 pounds.
With your high mileage your readings seem to be normal. Why are you asking? What symptoms are you having?

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
With 258k on the clock, I would say you're doing pretty good. As long as the oil pressure is still good and the engine runs good, you have another 100k in the engine.
