I need a expensive code reader for my 05 GCL. Any good suggestions ? Something under 100 $ . Anything over that i will just buy the Chrysler Dodge Jeep bundle for my Auto Enginuity Software.

Look on eBay for a used Snap-On scanner, they're usually around a hundred bucks. You read the data stream with a scanner, not with a code reader.

Whatever..... something to pull and read the soft and hard codes the OBDII has stored. Trying not to spend a lot on my wife's Jeep as it has to last her another year.

And Oil Pumps DO make pressure, I've got live data to prove it ! Well over 1,000 psi but thats in something that will flat out smoke these lil gas burning Jeeps.

you can get a basic one from harbor freight for like 60 bucks. dont know how it will be as far as quality though.

I got one of those $20 ebay bluetooth OBD2 code readers that syncs to your smartphone. Freaking awesome and most free apps that can use it have live capture. very handy to test sensors (especially O2's) where u can watch whats going on while under the hood or under the car....
