Chip for towing
Hello guys,
I am playing around with the idea of Purchasing a chip for my 99 Jeep grand cherokee Limited(V8-4.7 L).
Will putting a chip into my jeep help my vehicle when towing? its a little older so I want to do what I can to aid with the abuse it takes from pulling loads up and down the mountain roads here in Alberta and BC. I ask because others have told me that chipping the vehicle will only cause more engine problems.....I am trying to accomplish the opposite.
What are your thoughts?
