Power Steering Leak
I am having problems with leaking power steering fluid in my 2002 Grand Cherokee 4.7. It was leaking fluid where the line comes out of the pump. We tried replacing the O ring with a generic one and still had the leak. So, I ordered one from the dealer and now it leaks worse than ever.
When we tighten down the fitting, it doesn't appear to be seating all the down and the line can be moved back and forth where it enters the backside of the nut. It seems like since it won't seat all the way, it is not fitting tightly against the aluminum line. Is there another O ring or something up inside the nut? Not sure I'm explaining it well.
Thanks
