Check valve in Trans cooler line?
I have my 46re out of my 98 limited. Tranny is getting rebuilt and while that's being done should I do anything about the check valve in the trans cooler lines? I've heard it can go bad. Do you replace it with a new one or just delete it all together? Any input is appreciated.

I think the check valve is part of the connector for the cooler line in the transmission, or is in the transmission.

It's in the line just before it reaches the radiator I believe but I'm not sure about what to do with er. Delete it and just have a open line, or replace with a new valve.
