check engine code, how can i fix it.....
Ok I Have a check engine light on and the obdII code is P0442 Evap leak has any else hand this problem on the V8 grand cherokee's, if so what are the steps that I can take to get rid of my check engine light. Please help....

I think 'evap leak' is a pretty broad code. It could be anything from re-fueling with the engine running to a leaky hose somewhere. From past experience, i'd check the hoses back under/around the fuel tank. Also, the lines on the evap cannister. Depending on your year/model it could have a vacuum controlled purge valve to look at as well. Good luck!
