Exclamation check engine

Just purchased a 1996 ZJ from craigslist for a good price has the I6 replaced the plugs wires and distributor Check engine light is still on took it in and the parts store said that the codes are p0351 and p1391 from auto zone. My sources say timing chain don't really want to dig that far but i will if i have too : timing, check engine light, won't cold start

With it not wanting to start in the cold i would probably say timing chain... Does it idle rough, or feel sluggish? Hows your fuel mileage?

Googled around and found these:
**p01391 Intermittent loss of camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor. Possibilities include a dead or badly installed camshaft position sensor; valve timing out of spec; sensor relearning required with a scan tool; or a damaged tone wheel or pulse ring. The cam position is used mainly to synchronize fuel injectors, the crank position is needed to know when to spark. A good scan tool can usually pick up the problem by monitoring the sensors; a bad one will sometimes get “lost.” Timing chain and water pump sensors can cause the code to be set (if timing marks are out of range). The 2.4 engine was known for going through cam sensors for a while.
**P0351 - P0358 - Coil is not reaching peak current at the right time (last digit is coil number, e.g. P0351 = coil #1)
