central lock not working/brakelight always showing in display

Default central lock not working/brakelight always showing in display

i have a problem with my 1997 grand cherokee, my central lock is not working, if i press the unlock button on my key i can hear only the sound of the motor but its not unlocking, and if i lock it i can hear the motor and the horn but its not locking. hope someone can help me regarding my problem.
and also my brakelight always showing on the display that its not working but my both light is working properly.

You might need to put some lithium on the door latch mechanism's inside the door, as it sounds as if they're stuck.
Check the bulbs in the high-mount brake light at the top of the rear hatch window on the inside. If either of those bulbs go out it will cause the bulb failure light to illuminate.

You will proberly find that your brake warning light on you dash is caused by a blown blub(s) in you high level brake light at the top of your tailgate. This happened to me.

They say the bulbs are not serviceable but you can get them from you local motor shop.
