I'm new here and hope someone can help. I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited. Having trouble with the a/c fan and heater. It has the duel climate cintrol. The fan does not turn on at all and the temp selector only works on full cold. I tested the blower and it is fine. Has anyone had this problem before? Have no clue where to start. I am also looking for a factory trailer hitch and all parts needed to install since it didn't have one from the factory.

Sounds like your are suffering from failed blend doors. Do a search on this forum for Blend Doors and you will get a ton of info regarding this common issue. If you are confident in your mechanical abilities you can save yourself a heap of dough by doing it yourself.

Blend doors probably bad and also plug to blower resister. Mopar sells a kit for less than $20.00 to fix plug and a couple of companies sell a kit to replace blend doors. Just replaced both on my 99 GC limited. Kit cost me 99 plus 20 shipping for blend doors.
