Default A/C, Heater blower stopped working

Is it just the blower motor or should I replace the blower relay first?

I have this as an intermittent problem on my WJ – haven’t got round to effecting a permanent fix. I have discovered that my problem is a loose connection somewhere around the blower motor. With the ignition on and the blower energized, give the wires around the blower – located above the passenger foot-well, a gentle wiggle to see if the blower comes back on.

The following link is for the WJ but the repair should be similar for the ZJ. http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm

Well we took it all apart last night and found out that the blower motor is fine and so is the blower relay. There is a wire somewhere that is failing to get power from the battery to the blower motor. We have it rigged right now with a wire directly from the blower and I have to pinch it into the cig lighter when I want the blower to work...and even then it's only on high. We think it possibly is a problem with the actual switch in the dash. Any thoughts??

My thoughts/suggestions are in a previous post. It's a link to a WJ site but the issues are similar for a ZJ. It just shows pics as well.
