Buying ZJ, question...
I am fixing to buy a 96 GC limited 4x4 5.2l. I have a quick question about ht e 4x4 system. Basically, what should I check for when testing it? It has the quadra trac system and I want to know what kind of things to check for with it.

Do some figure eights and listen for grinding and popping from the transfercase. The viscous coupler is the weak link in the quadratrac transfercase, but it can easily be swapped out for NP231 and then you will have 2wd, 4hi,4lo, and neutral.
