Brake swap; Teves to Akabono
How much is involved with converting my 2000 WJ from Teves brakes to Akabono? I've been told it's just calipers, brackets, and pads. I'll put new rotors on it when I do the swap, of course, but is there anything else I need to do?

Did mine a couple of years ago - Teves calipers were binding and the discs were past their best.
The Akebono calipers were a straight swap for the Teves.
I also fitted new discs and pads at the same time.
Worst part of the job was bleeding the brakes out again.

Thanks guys. That's what's I needed was experienced backup! I've been chasing brake problems for as long as I've owned this jeep, but never had the warped rotor problem. This will be the third set of calipers on the front in 60K miles besides the originals. The rears ARE the originals and I've never had a problem with them. Well, they are the ones that were on it at 125K when I bought it anyway.
