Default Brake rotor nut size on 99 Grand Cherokee?

Im changing the brakes out on my 99 Grand Cherokee and I don't have a socket big enough to take off the nut holding on the front rotors. Does anybody know what size that nut is? I'd like to know so I can just buy one socket. Thanks

As far as I know remove the caliper and the rotor will come off it fits over the lugs. I have a 97 and it wasn't held on by anything but the caliper and wheel.

JamesP is right. The Lug Nuts hold the rim in place which in turn holds teh disc firmly in place. The big nut you see in the center of the Disc, a 36mm, is there only to hold the Hub and axleshaft together.

Well, shoot I guess I'll go give the rotor a whack with the rubber mallet and see what happens.

Edit: Got it! Thank you guys

Ensure you have removed the brake caliper and caliper mounting braket. I would take a lug nut and screw it on about half way onto a wheel stud. I had a rotor come off rather quickly after a rubber mallet whacking, almost took my toe off!
