Brake Lockup
Pulled into a parking spot in my 2006 Grand Cherokee. Stepped on the brake pedal and my brakes locked up with the brake lights on. Had driven less than a mile on dry roads. About 15 minutes later I heard a sound from the rear of the Jeep, the brakes released and the brake lights went out. I've followed the threads in the forums, but can't find this exact problem. I've tried, but can't get the problem to recur. Any idea what may have happened?

Welcome to CF.
Sounds like your emergency/parking brake engaged then released causing the sound from the rear. You should take it to Midas or another repair chain that does free inspections and has a good reputation. JMO
If they were to lock-up while driving it could be very dangerous to you and/or other drivers.
