Default brake lines

So I have search and can't find a definate answer.... maybe I just suck at searching!

Putting on the RC 4'' lift on my 2000 GC limited..... brake lines don't look long enough. Do I need extended brake lines? If so where can I get them? for the life of me I can't find anyone that sells extended lines for the wj.....

Thanks for any help!!

People say yes, people say no. And you can buy the line, bend it yourself, and save some money. Just don't go using any compression fittings, i hate when people do that

Don't skimp out on brake hoses, and don't ghetto engineer your brake hoses. The life you save may be mine.

problem is I have never done brake line work...... just wish there was a simple solution.... like a line that would connect to the stock line. I will have to get under there when the tires are off and see what I can do.

but yeah, brakes are one place I will take zero short cuts. I love to go.... but I know I need to stop.

I'm not talking bout short cuts, just about buying and bending and routing you're own line.

Ive been told front flex lines for Dodge Dakota are longer than jeep. For my 3.5 lift I pulled the hard lines down farther and drilled a new hole for the screw of the mount braket. The rear flex line was at limit at full extension. I recently replaced it with Skyjacker RBL44 braided stainless rear flex line for 3-6" lift range, lots of lenght there now.

www.quadratec has a full set of extended braided steel brake hoses for less than a hundred bucks, they come in colors too.
