Brake Light comes on when braking hard
This one should be easy...
Just started a couple of days ago. Intermittently, when I brake hard my brake light comes on. Brakes feel normal at all times under any load. I am just wondering what I should be looking at. Is this brake light in response to my rear or front brakes? I know on the early '90 Ford F-150's, the brake light would come on in response to the rear brakes locking up especially when they are cold . Problem with mine is though... even when the brake light comes on like I said before I don't really have any mechanical symptoms of failure in my braking. Any ideas?

I would check the fluid level, it might be dropping below the sensor and activating the light. The warning light is tied directly tothe fluid level I think. Might be time for new brakes or you have a leak somewhere.
I would get somebody to press on the brakes while you look at the fluid level of the fluid level. This way you can see for yourself what actually is happening.
