... Okay so I had a dry spell in the weather today and thought "I'll give it a go.." So away we went with pursed lip, I set to... removed the glovebox, then the actuator and all was going well... then onto cutting the heaterbox casing.. deep concentration, biting the end of the tongue as I cut in to the casing .. and away we go.. in we are, blend doors out, new ones in and all is going well ........until its testing time! Passengers door is going great no issues so set up the drivers door and... the actuator works fine open close, open close and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz open full on its own and I'm like WTF??? Then it stays there! Actuator failed in the open position... tried it on a battery +/- and nothing.... Freaking actuator has failed in the open position! How about that??? So now I'm on the market for a new actuator....:bric kwall:

Sorry about your luck, but I would rather replace 10 drivers side actuators vs replacing 1 passenger side.
