Default Best place to buy a PCM/ECU/ECM?

I was just about to buy a PCM for my 1993 grand cherokee laredo inline6 4.0 4WD but I had the sense to look for reviews before and I was about to get ripped off...The websites that were consumer beware was autocomputerexchange.net and all computer resources.net

Ask your local NAPA store where they get thiers from. You also try the boneyard.

I just purchased a PCM from these guys and I'm very pleased with them. Before buying I did check the BBB and saw a number of complaints against them. Given the price of the computer was $160 and I was buying on a credit card I decided to move forward and purchase from them.

The only issue I had was I paid for two day shipping as I needed the computer by Friday (I was purchasing on Tuesday). I did speak to someone about another issue immediately after placing the order and he confirmed it would arrive by Friday. Unfortunately it did not...it arrived the following Monday. I called them up and they refunded the two day shipping.

They need to program (at least for the WJ series) computer and test it which takes 24-48 hours and then they shipped it out overnight. So keep this in mind. You also have to return your existing PCM as a core. They include return shipping in the cost of the PCM making the return easy to do.

In the end I was pleased with them and would not hesitate to do business with them again. They were easy to reach, their product was as expected, and they handled my complaint quickly and easily.

A 93 PCM will be a plug and play install, no programming needed.

I ordered a PCM from All Computer Resources and paid for 2-day shipping. That was last Thursday. It is now Friday and I still don't have the PCM. I am dissatisfied with this company so far but I don't know if the product will work or not.
