Hello, I'm trying to get a general opinion or suggestions on tires. Currently I have 265/70 R16 on my jeep they're A/T KUMHO, but, they're not all that great in my opinion as they seem to easily pack and become useless. I plan to do alot of wheeling, mostly mud but maybe the occasional climbing session and road driving. So, without breaking the bank, what are my best options? It's a 99 Grand Cherokee, has a stroked 4.0 to a 4.6

I'd go with BFG All Terrain T/A KO2. Nice open block tread that should clean itself well. But that's my choice!

They're a nice looking tire. That's what I want, something that doesn't get jammed up with mud another question though, how much of a height difference between a 265/70 and a 265/75? Looks like I have room for more tire but I'm not all too sure.

That's easy to figure out. The profile is the % of tire width it is above the rim. So a 70 is 70% of the width above the rim X 2 + the rim diameter.

265mm = 10.4"

10.4 X .70 = 7.28 X 2 = 14.56 + 16 = 30.56" overall diameter.

Conversion factor; 1mm = .03925"

Now YOU figure out the OD of a 75!

That's the tire I'm running, 265/75/16 (31.8 inches). 2.5 inch lift. Sometimes rub the driver side inner fender when I turn right downhill, or too fast.
However they are mounted on 16X8 rims with 4.25 back spacing.

Yeah, well, you're 20mm wider than stock recommended oversize now. You might try 1" wheel spacers.
