how do you loosen the serpentine belt on my 94 grand cherokee 4.0

Anyone can tell me the correct way to change the serpentine belt on a 95 Grand Cherokee with a v8 automatic trans.

Use a wrench to rotate the tensioner clockwise and release tension on the belt. The tensioner will swing down out of the way once the tension of the belt is released. Remove the belt and carefully release the tensioner. Route the new belt over the pulleys, again rotating the tensioner to allow the belt to be installed. When installing the new belt, make sure it is routed properly because improper routing can cause the water pump to rotate backwards, causing overheating. The belt routing diagram is located on the fan shroud. Hope this helps.
