I was cleaning up my engine the other day and saw that my serpentine belt is cracked and veeeerry dry, so... I want to replace it before it goes.
Easy?

Find the sticker that says the belt routing, it tells you which one is the belt removal pulley. On the xj it's under the power steering pulley. All you do is loosen the pulley and then unscrew the belt tensioner... Would assume it's different on the zj... But then again belt removal is pretty straightforward on any vehicle IMO. I'm sure you can search to find answer to this :]

look at the belt diagram on it. then take a 13mm socket and loosen the bolt for tensioner pulley just a little bit then use a 13mm socket again to loosen the big bolt that goes through the tensioner think its beside power steering containter and loosen that up a bit and the belt should come off then do the reverse for putting it back on just dont overtighten it
