Battery question
Battery died at least 5 times on Grand cherokee 1998.
Was told that it was the powertrain control module and that the battery was fine. 2 weeks after having the pcm renewed at a cost of 1000 dollars, the battery has died again.
I was then told that I need a new battery.
Can a working battery ( told by the jeep dealer that it was fine )go completely dead in 2 weeks?
I never drive at night so the lights have never been left on.

Is this still the same battery or was it replaced?
If it went completely dead 5 times and wasn't properly charged (by a charger, not the alternator), its capacity and lifespan have been dramatically reduced
Take it to a different auto parts store and have it tested
If it's a new battery, there is always a chance you got a bad one or you still have a a power drain
