If you happen to find an auto dimming rear view mirror at the boneyard, and you would like one in your ZJ, it's a very simple swap! Look for one with a three wire plug from a 93-98 ZJ. Remove the visors and visor clips, then GENTLY pull the headliner down from the windshield and you will find the plug for the mirror taped to another harness on the driver's side. Just clip the tape that is securing the plug and pull the mirror harness so it will come out of the headliner at the center of the windshield, then it's just a matter of plugging the connector into the mirror and installing the mirror on the button. Put your visors and clips back on and you're done.
