Another AC question
OK, New Accumulater, New Compressor. 6 oz of Oil, 24 oz of r134a. Flushed components not replaced
Low side is approaching 60psi, high side is rock steady @ 250psi. After 1 hour on the highway, output air from the vent is 50 degrees, upon slowing it immediately goes to 70 degrees.
System is clearly under charged by weight. It requires 28 oz. Oil has got to be damn close, I added more than 6 oz, required 7.75oz. Im afraid to add more freon because of the low side pressures.
93 ZJ with 5.2lt. Prior AC was OK, but @ 217 miles it spit the front seal out and lost 90% of the freon charge.
Suggestions?
Ron
