Air not blowing from the defroster vents
Hey guys. I have a 1994 Grand Cherokee and at the moment the air is blowing from the front vents only. Even when I move the air distribution switch from front, feet, defrost, etc. air will only come out the front. I don't think this is a vacuum problem but possibly the switch is broken. When the switch is moved, you do not feel a "click".
Any suggestions on what I can look at? Thanks for the help.

The mode switch (the one that makes heat come out different places) is a vacuum valve, not an electrical switch. It ports vacuum to different actuators, opening and closing doors in the housing. It's possible in valve is broken or leaking enough vacuum to not do anything, or the vacuum source hose is leaking or disconnected. The vacuum comes off a "T" fitting near the top right of the engine compartment on the firewall.
