Traded for a 93 zf that hasnt run in a couple of years, previous owner said the cherokee started, was sitting in the driveway warming up, died and has not started since. He purchased new and replaced the following, coil, cap, wires, plugs, crank sensor, cam sensor, all relays under the glovebox. the coil has fire with ignition on, but not with engine cranking. as far as i can tell he has replaced all major elec components in a throw it at to fix it effort. will check for fuel pressure issues now that i have it home. any other advise will help am new to the zf, but not to chryslersweird electrical systems, thanks for the help

 

Maybe PCM,check ASD relay/related under hood fuses...i'm guessing you can't retrieve any codes since it's been sitting so long? Does it turn over?

no codes, engine cranks fine, fuel pressure seems low, havent had the guage on it yet, ecm appears to lose fire between the on and start position, has fire at the coil with key in run position but not when key goes to start position, dont know if this clarifies it any but i hope so

 

lol sorry bout the re-occuring typo, knew it was a zj just had a brain fart

 

dont know if itmeans anything, but the yllow power wire to the mster window control appears to b shorted out also, dont know if it happened at the time or sometime b4...

 

Still not running, everything new except ecm, hopefully new one will be here this week
