AC Compressors
Do AC Compressors eventually wear out say after 10 years or so? Like the air doesn't get as cold anymore so you have to replace the compressor just because of wear and tear and age?

The compressor can wear out, but I would bet money that you have a leak in the system. There are a lot of places for potential leaks in an automotive A/C system. Try cleaning out all of the bugs and junk from the condenser and make sure the belt is tight.

Just had the entire system vacced and recharged yesterday by the shop mechanic and he didn't notice any leaks. I know I have to replace the power steering pump since it's lagging and went south on me, causing everything else to seem like it's failing..
He told me once I replace the power steering pump that everything else should pick back up, and the A/C should get much colder.
