My stereo is working but the front right speaker is muffled and the right rear speaker doesn't work at all. I heard from local Best Buy Tech that the Infinity amps were known to "lose channels", so I purchased another Infinity Gold replacement (OEM) and the problem remains. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? I checked the speaker connections and they are fine. Speakers are OK and work perfectly - I pulled them out and tested them on my other Grand Cherokee and they worked fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Could my OEM head unit be the culprit? I hope not: I love the steering wheel controls! Stew

 

could be multiple things. the headunit not sending the sound out, the wires between the headunit and the amp, the wires between the amp and speaker. does your other grand have the infinity system as well? if it dies swap the headunits and see if the problem goes with the headunit. after that start bypassing the wires with jumpers to see if thats the issue
