My Truck is stuck in 4WD. I can get under it with a pry bar and get it into 2WD, until I drive it then it goes right back to 4WD. I would appreciate any help I can get.

how do you know its stuck in 4 wheel and what are you prying on to get it out.

Where the 4X4 handle links up to the bar that actually shifts the transfer is where I pry. As far as knowing it is stuck in 4WD. The light says 4WD and when I try to drive it the front wheels grab and hop.

What transfer case do you have. do you only have 3 selections, or 5
