Hi I just installed a remote starter in my JGC, everything works fine but the door locks??? does anybody know if this requires a relay or mod?? If so could you include a pic or explain. Many Thanks...

 

I just have a limited knowledge of remote starters. In the relay center which is located under the glove box there should be a door open and door close relay. Seems that part of your intallation should have connected or modified the door open-close system for it to function.

I've never had to mess with that relay center.

some jeeps require doorlock modules for the databus doorlocks...I'm not sure that started back in 98 or not...I think so. If you haven't figured it out, I'll go through my DEI archives and see if I have the module.
