I have a 98 jeep grand cherokee limited with the 4.0 and 42RE tranny it will not shift out of first gear. It was running fine shifting and all and then one morning turned it on and she wouldn't move. I dropped the oil pan down changed the oil and filter and she moved again. I then came to find out she wouldn't leave first, so i then dropped the pan down again and changed the govenor pressure sensor and the transducer solinoid cause i was told thats what makes the trans shift from 1-2 and 3-4. that didn't work so i changed the speed sensor and then i also replaced the TPS(throttle position sensor) and that also didn't work is there any other things that could cause this?? the trans shift from 1-2 if i manually shift it so i can't imagine the trans is shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Help??????? ?????????

the trans must have a shift solenoid, id look into replacing that and make sure you have the right amount of trans fluid an its not low

i think i got pretty much all the sensors and i checked the fluids its capped off still wont move
