I put the map light on and when I tried to push the switch off, the light would not go off. I noticed that middle dome light and the dome light by the hatch door were both on also. I slid the dashboard light switch a little and then hit the map light switch again and the front map light went off but not the other 2 dome lights.
Has this happened to anybody? Is this a common thing?
And the most important thing, does anybody know how to fix it.

So I guess I haven't found anyone who knows the problem.
I started to remove the door switch on the drivers side thinking that it must have a bad ground and when I removed the screw on the bottom of the switch the lights went out. I guess that was grounding the switch.
All the other doors work right putting the interior lights on.
