Default 97 zj death wobble

ive got a bad case of dw only when im going over 40mph i recently put 2inch lift wit 31inch tires and i started getting dw i just installed kevinsoffroad.coms kor hard track bar conversion thinking it would fix the problem but it didnt please help me out

Good luck. I have stock lift w/ the inconsistent problem. I've changed everything up front.

Check the tires for balance, the steering linkage for looseness, and the wheel bearings, ball joints, and anything else that you can think of that might be worn. You just raised the center of gravity which accentuates any looseness that might have been there before.

40 mph is about when tires out of balance come into play.

okay ill check some stuff out i kno the tires need to be balanced and the alignment i also have a 97 tj that has 33s with a 3inch lift and has no problems at all and never got the alignment done i drive it everyday and i got the cherokee and ive had so many problems with it

I don't know where you got your tires, but jack them up and spin them. I've seen defective tires get thru quality control that were out of round or molded off center. Even the best manufacturer once in a while lets one get thru.

The front toe setting changed since you lifted your rig, and the caster changed too. Alignment and tire balance will make a huge difference.

I agree that caster angle after lifting can be killer
