Default 97 ZJ 4.0 I6 lower radiator hose leak

I searched the forum and didn't see any similar posts even though I'm sure there are some. I replaced my radiator. Transmission lines are great the upper radiator hose is fine but the lower coolant hose is the problem.
I cannot get the lower coolant hose to stop leaking after its clamped on. I've tried worm clamps in various positions even trying double worm clamps. I tried this with the hose that was on it and I've bought a new hose and tried the worm clamps.
Currently I've tried the original spring hose clamp and it still leaked. So I added water and let the engine warm up hoping the hose might expand then cool and kind of position its self. I'm still waiting for it to cool down.
I know for a fact that the radiator is not cracked. I have verified with 100% certainty that the water is coming out of the bottom of the lower coolant hose. I have been able to see it. I know a common issue is the weep holes on the water pump and I have verified is not running down the hose.

Any suggestions are welcome as I'm out of them myself. Thanks

Edit: and i've checked and cleaned the radiator neck and its clean. I'm thinking of one of these Gates heat-shrink radiator clamps. But I don't think I should need to go there.

I think it's the water pump. Could be a bad gasket or a pin hole in the casting.

I know for a fact that the water is not coming from up at the pump. could that cause a leak at the bottom of the hose? I wouldn't think it would since the water is still flowing through the pump. I guess i'll try a Gates heat-shrink radiator clamp.

Is this a new hose, or an old hose? If it's the old hose, why waste any more time with it? Just replace it.

What are the chances of two different hoses leaking at the same place? It's not the hose. It's the water pump or radiator. Borrow a cooling system pressure checker and pump the system up to 15lbs, then start looking for the leak.

Thats true, I'm thinking its the radiator since the leak is at the radiator and not the water pump. Plus I replaced the pump last year. I realize it could have still went bad but its not leaking from there.

Ok figured it out. For some reason the lower trans cooler line connection on the radiator was loose. i'm not sure I said that right. it was the adapter that screws into the radiator for the trans line. Thanks for the help.

I had a new metal radiator leak after about 7 months at the tank seam. Look around for seepage in the radiator fins. Gravity may draw coolant down to a hose and be deceiving.
