97 Grand Cherokee Crank No Start
I have a 1997 jeep grand Cherokee limited v8 5.2l that will crank but will not start. There is no voltage at injectors or at the ignition coil. I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it still will not start. Also, no check engine light illuminates at all when turning the key to the run position (I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it). Today I unplugged the ASD relay and jumped a 12-volt connection to the dark green/ orange wire which send power to the injectors and coil and got 12 volts the injectors and coil I tried starting it but there was still no spark. I Swapped relays thinking that the ASD relay could be bad but with the good relay, there were still no volts while in the start or run position. Do I need to replace the PCM or could the problem be somewhere else? Also sometimes randomly all of the relays will start clicking and then stop.

Have to find out why the pcm is shutting off the asd relay. Typically no signal from the crank or cam sensor, or fuel pump but I am foggy on that without checking.
This may or may not help, but mine does the same thing, especially in the morning when it’s cold or at night when it’s cold. It cranks but won’t start and the check engine light doesn’t come on, but I noticed that if I put the key in and wait to turn on the engine until the check engine finally comes on, it turns on without any issues, but if I don’t wait it won’t do it, idk why this is but it worked for me. I usually will cycle the key to the on position and wait like 5 seconds for the engine light to come on and then it’ll work

Right, check fuel pressure. The previous poster sounds like the regulator is shot. Mine does the same thing. You give it the 'poor man's prime' by turning on the key for a couple seconds.

I think it sounds like you have a bad computer (PCM). These years Gand Cherokees some of them had poorly built PCMs (soldering problems).
Maybe banging a little on it with a heavy screw driver end or something. Or, pulling around on the PCM connections may get it going? Works for some people.
Check the supply to the fuse for the ignition. Check all of the fuses with a test light actually. And do some careful wiggle testing of all the wires of the main wiring harness and other wires/connectors too.
It does sound like a bad PCM to me though, and I do not ussually go there first.
