97 Grand Cherokee Check Gauges Light

97 Grand Cherokee Check Gauges Light
Hello,
The check gauges light came on while driving home and I noticed that the oil gauge went to zero while the temp gauge went to 260. After stopping for a bit, the gauges went back to normal. I am trying to figure out what could be the cause of this sudden change. Any help is appreciated. Vehicle is '97 Grand Cherokee.
