My 1997 grand cherokee all of a sudden quits while driving, then starts and runs fine. I did have the trans replaced about a month ago. Any connection there? Please help and thanks in advance.

Mine started doing the same thing about 2 months after i replaced the transmission. Check the Crank Positioning Sensor. As soon as i replaced that part in mine, the stalling stopped. IMO try and buy the Crank Shaft Position Sensor as a OEM part, it's more expensive but will be better in the long run because that is a pretty critical part, and NOT one that you will want to have to replace again.
