i recently bought a new 42re tranny for my 95, the donor tranny came out of a 96, i have no idea what transfer case it had, but i have the command trac case but the new 42re i got has a different output shaft then mine, and the transfer case wont bolt up, the shaft on the new one is thicker, nd has splines all the way down to the end, the one on my old 42re has splides half way down, and then solid shaft, and its not as thick.
