2005 V6 Grand Cherokee
Hello gang, it has being long since I logged IN but I am back, I inherited a 2005 Grand Cherokee V6 3.7L 4x2 automatic, let me start with the miles, it has 75,000 miles on it, just driving it home when I got the keys of this SUV it started getting Hot, found out this Jeep never went to mechanics other than oil changes, new brake pads, so I assumed it was a faulty thermostat, so went to local store and got a Stat brand new thermostat 195F with new gasket wish is a big O ring new coolant purge the cooling system and still over heats, took water pump out and the pump was the problem, the blades (bare with my English) were plastic and broken in 2, went to local store again got a new not rebuilt Bosch water pump with lifetime warranty, installed it also with new radiator cap purge the system and so far all good, planning on replacing the spark plugs but want to know your opinion on this, wish brand, wish gap will you set the new spark plugs etc. etc. Did an oil change with fully synthetic 5w-30 Mobil oil and Mobil oil filter, new air filter, well all the goodies we like to do when we get a new toy, also wanted to know the wish is the model number of the tranny, this tranny looks to be fully electric, I can choose 1, 2, 3 and 4 by just taping the shift ****, Thanks in advance Turbo
