95 zj trans fluid and filter change

how many quarts of atf+4 should i buy? orilleys told me 4 but ive heard anything from 4-7. reason i need to know is because im going to substitute a quart for the lucas trans fix.

4-7 is said due to the fact that the torque converter may drain and you might need all 7. I would just buy 7 then return what is not needed or keep it till you need it i keep 2 quarts in my jeep along with a few of 10w30 incase i need it on the trail.

a i got 100$ to do the rear main seal and the trans service so moneys tight lol they are both about 50$ jobs, and ur on jeep forum right now too just talked to you about going to a higher lift

I know lol i have no life haha but do the tranny and return the fluid you dont use to fund the other work

ya im just having so many problems with this damn thing. the rear main seal and the trans all at once.

lol iknow ive replaced everything on this jeep. but had alot of problems with it when i first got it

I have been very lucky with mine well kinda I had to put a new tranny in it so that wasnt cheap lol but other than that its been cheap ****

a new/dry trans from cooler to drive shaft can hold up to 11 quarts 4 in the pan for a sump
