how many quarts of atf+4 should i buy? orilleys told me 4 but ive heard anything from 4-7. reason i need to know is because im going to substitute a quart for the lucas trans fix.

4-7 is said due to the fact that the torque converter may drain and you might need all 7. I would just buy 7 then return what is not needed or keep it till you need it i keep 2 quarts in my jeep along with a few of 10w30 incase i need it on the trail.
a i got 100$ to do the rear main seal and the trans service so moneys tight lol they are both about 50$ jobs, and ur on jeep forum right now too just talked to you about going to a higher lift

if you are buget impaired do one or the other, better to do it right than twice!

a new/dry trans from cooler to drive shaft can hold up to 11 quarts 4 in the pan for a sump
