Default 95 zj starts runs dies check engine light flickers

so today I bought a running and driving 1995 jeep zj orvis edition. New battery, new alternator. the jeep seems to have a miss at low rpm but on top of that I can be going down i95 and the jeep will shut off like I hit the key off. sometimes it will start right back up other times it will start and immediately die. after it dies the check engine light flickers uncontrollably all the relays by the battery start clicking and the egr valve clicks as well. I'm leaning towards a bad ecu anyone have any input or maybe a way to test the computer
