I have a 95 Grand Cherokee with a 5.2. I need to check the timing on it but for the life of me i can not find anything that tells me whaat it's supposed to be set at. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

The computer sets and adjusts the timing, so unless you removed the distributor, you should not have to mess with it. But I think the base timing is 8degrees BTDC.

well to check the timing you can set the engine at Top dead center or TDC you do this by lining up the line on your engine block with the line on the crankshaft pulley or harmonic balancer, take your distributer cap off and check witch spark plug your rotor is pointing to it should be pointing to piston #1 you can find what cylinder its pointing to by following the sparkplug.
