'94 ZJ 1.75 Axel ratio?
Hello everone,
1.75 is the ratio I'm getting after Jacking up the Jeep, turning the tires and counting the driveshaft revolutions. Is there an actual axel ratio of 1.75 available to the ZJ, or did I just screw up? Or did the original owner change the gear? Also there is no tag on the differential housing. I'm trying to find the axel ratio because I found an axel with disc brakes at the local recycler and I want to swap mine. By the way, the transmission is 5-speed. I need help. Any thoughts? Thanks

If its all stock its either 3.73 or 3.55
I'm pretty sure yours are going to be 3.55
Check the little tag on the diff cover. it will tell you what you have.

I made a mistake. The 1.75 is for 1 tire rotation, but I read somewhere that it has to be two tire rotations because it's open differential. So I believe it's 3.55, just like Falfani81 said. 1.75 x 2 = 3.50. Thanks
