I have been having this problem for awhile now. When I turn the key if i do not here the fuel pump cycle then i dont not get spark under the hood as well. If i hear the pump then I always have spark to go with it. I replaced spark plugs & wires, fuel pump, fuel filter and belt.

It seems like if i mess with the shifter(auto) for awhile sometimes i can get the fuel pump to come on.

Any Ideas?

 

Check your ASD and Fuel Pump relays. You may have one acting intermittently. When you turn your key on, the PCM checks for signals from different sensors. If signals not detected the ASD shutsdown the coil and fuel pump and a couple of other things. It may be a bad sensor like the CPS, it seems to be a problem child.
