94 grand Cherokee limited
It won't start until after it makes a ticking sound not sure what going on and when it's cold out it takes forever for it to even start to tick but once it's done making the ticking sound it fires right up done replaced the map sensor as was told that was the issue clearly not the case does anyone have any idea as to what could possibly be the issue

If the starter won't turn until after the ticking stops, try replacing the positive battery cable clamp.

Typical lazy PCM.. how handy are you with a soldering iron? Theres also guys selling refurb'd on the bay.
What your hearing/waiting for is the PCM to "warm" the capacitors enough to send power to the fuel pump relay (what you hear clicking) and allow it to start.
