Bought a 93 jeep grand Cherokee previous owner said he started it up like usual and then he tried to back up and it won't start now. Cranks no problem but won't start any ideas? Hoping it's a cheap fix.

 

Check the fuel pressure and for spark. You can kill two birds by spraying starting fluid into the intake and then crank her over. If it tries to start you know you have spark and no fuel. If it doesn't do anything you have a spark issue.

 

Yeah that's where I was going to start just wanted to see if anyone has had the same issue and what the fox was.
