Engine turns over, but will not start. Have fuel in tank, power to fuel pump, but cannot tell if it is working. Have fuel to fuel pressure regulator, but no pressure in the fuel rails. Prime intake and vehicle starts for a second or two, but then stops. Have taken security box out of vehicle.

Ok, just went back out to the vehicle to try and check a couple of items. I could finally hear the fuel pump actuate for a couple of seconds. I tried to start it just because and the vehicle started for a couple of seconds. I reconnected the security box and the vehicle starts and runs. I now have really no clue as to the problem.

And there is your problem. There are a lot of functions connected to the security system. You can't just pull the box and expect to have everything work. You need the help of a systems guru to do it right. Good luck!

Obviously, the fuel pump isn't running. You could hot-wire it and see if it will start, but I think it will shut down as soon as you release the key.

I was following another individuals advice, I got on taking out the security box a couple of months ago, when this problem first came up. I tried then by replacing the Crankshaft & Camshaft sensors, coil, and grounding out the purple and yellow striped wire. When the vehicle would not start this morning with the same problems I was having back then, I took out the box first thing, because everything else had been changed.

I still have no idea why the vehicle decided to start after I went back out to it after posting the first message.
