Default Is $6000 a good price for this?

Its a 1997 Jeep ZJ. 160XXX miles. Turnkey great truck.

100% mechanicaly sound.

Upgrades I have done:

K&N FIPK cold air intake.
Rough Country 4.5 inch lift
(New shocks and control arms all around).
Dynomax Super turbo cat back exaust.

And tons of other trivial things..

VIDEO:

The photos I included show the truck before i installed the rim caps and exaust ect... (The video is most current).

Looks very polished and professsional.

I was thinking as a starting offer $6000.00 neg.

Is that out of bounds? What do you think/would you pay?

(I live in Savannah GA)

I appreciate you!

Everything I've done is BRAND NEW maybe 10 - 20 miles on new tires lift ect..

ALSO 4 15x8 inch Cragar wheels and 4 31x10.5x15 BFG A/T's BRAND NEW

Thanks

im not trying to sound like a d**k but your crazy.with 160k and upgrades its not worth 6 grand.when you put all the add ons on any car your never going to get your money back ive been told you will most likely get back .25cents for very dollar you put into a car.dont get me wrong ur grand is nice i wish mine was on crager lifted 4.5 inches but its just not worth 6000 i would pay like 4000-4500 bucks for it.

I had a chance to buy a 1999 ZJ limited 5.2 with 108k a 4.5 Rubicon Express lift, front lockers, Flowmaster and K&N for $4,500. Just as a reference.

6k is pretty high for a 13 year old jeep with 160,xxx miles. I would say maybe 3500-4000 max.

Photos dont work by the way.

Yeah, first number that popped in my head was about $4K. Find one locally that is close to stock and base your price slightly above that.

by all means if you can sell it to someone for 6 grand do it but i think you will get more bites at 4-4500.some dumb kids in my town bought jeep for way to much and they asked me what i bought mne for and they were dumbfounded...i bought my 1997 stock zj laredo with the 6cyl 80000 for 3000.find out the kbb of the jeep and then figure what the add ons are worth

if you dont mind me asking why would you do all of that work and then sell it?

For a reference check sites like:

http://www.edmunds.com/used-cars/

http://www.kbb.com/used-cars

http://www.nadaguides.com/

Mods and add-ons don't necessarily command a higher value unless you find the right buyer.

You can ask whatever you want and maybe you'll get it but just for reference,I had my wj on all the jeep sites a couple months ago for 6K..I had probably 10K+ in it..couldn't sell it. I ended up taking $2500 for it.

Yea, as everyone else said 6k is a little high. I had a 00 WJ Limited 4.7 V8 AWD, lifted 2" with 17" Rubicon Moab wheels. It had 180k miles and i got EXTREMELY lucky and actually ended up getting 5800 for it. You'd probably be able to sell it somewhere in the 4k range.

It's 2WD, right? I know it's clean, but even $4k sounds high to me.Not trying to be a dick either, just a realist. GL with the sale.

I paid $1500 for a cherry-looking (no rust) stock 97 ZJ and wound up putting $3000 into the trans and driveline! it's got 180K on it.

Yea man sorry but not worth $6k.. my old muddin blazer had close to $14k in it and could only sell it for around $4500. Lifted vehicles are not in demand with gas prices the way they are, they typically sell for less than stock around here.

I bought my 95 ZJ for $1800.. granted it had 194k on it but it's in great condition and the seller had over $5000 in receipts from the past two years.
