Yes you can but the ride will be bad. If your going short arm lift that high do yourself a favor and get some good quality control arms.

My Q to you is why 6"?

yeah i put 4 inches on a 1989 cherokee and i can't go over 35 we have looked at everything to try and fix the death wobble everything is done right everything is tight nothing is broken there is absolutly nothing wrong but it still has the death wobble, is it because we stayed with the short arm kit. would the long arm kit get rid of it or is the long arm kit to much for a 4 inch lift

I'm at 6"s with my 89 cherokee and run short arms. I drive 30 miles one way to work on the highway at 60-65 no wobble or vibes. It all depends on how you set up your rig and how much you spend.

Kdm 3769: I would check your caster if you can't drive it over 35. Also check track bar and do some research on death wobble. There's a few good sites for adjusting your caster and camber when you search "google".

To add to this, Kdm 3769 did you get an alignment after lifting it? I am at 6.5" on my XJ with short arms also. I don't mind the ride because it is a trail rig only.
